SOUTHWEST TRIP
2000
Sedona

Sedona is an artist/tourist community in the red rock area at the end of Oak Creek Canyon, just south of Flagstaff Arizona. We spent the last two days of our trip in this area. Shown on these two pages are some of the interesting red rock formations in the area.

A view in Red Rock State Park. Several dwelling structures can be seen in the foreground

On the Snebly Hill road can be seen many interesting formations. The one on the right resembles a camel.

Some of the rock forms are tall spires.

This is the bridge over Oak Creek at the end of the canyon.

Our camp site was in an NFS campground near the head of Oak Creek Canyon.
