MONUMENT VALLEY

One place we really wanted to visit again was Monument Valley. It is a wonderfully beautiful and peaceful place and Yoshiko likes to sketch there a lot. We spent three nights at the Monument valley campground and took the valley drive twice while we were there - once in the morning and once in the late afternoon.

Monument Valley with the crescent moon and Venus visible in the sky. A view west from our campsite.

The view east from our camp site - two "mittens." We stayed at Mitten View Campground

Our camp site. There is an older vintage (circa 1970) Airstream next to us. We saw them several time during our trip.
