The ultimate target of our trip was Nova Scotia. This is the farthest point from home in California that we reached. We spent 8 days there, splitting our time between Cape Breton Island, where we stayed at Whycocomagh, and the area around Lunenburg on the south coast Lighthouse Trail.
Photo opportunities there were abundant and there were many to select from for this web page. We also enjoyed the fresh seafood, particularly the lobster and scallops.
